Adolescent and Family Services (AFS)

AFS is dedicated to supporting teens struggling with substance use, mental health challenges, or other life difficulties. AFS counselors are located at all high schools in the 4J and Bethel School Districts and provide on-site behavioral health services to students. AFS counselors also provide treatment to teens and families at the ODI Clinic and via a mobile service. AFS Program

Students with Involved Families and Teachers (SWIFT)

SWIFT is a strength-based, school-focused program to support youth with emotional and behavioral health needs. We provide behavioral health services to middle school-age students and their families in school, home, and community settings. The SWIFT model actively engages parents, teachers, and school staff to coordinate and develop youth-specific services. ODI Clinic Programs are Evidence-Based

“Evidence-based” refers to counseling practices and interventions grounded in research and empirical evidence demonstrating their effectiveness.

This approach involves rigorously testing treatment methods through scientific studies, ensuring they are both safe and effective.

Evidence-based practices improve client outcomes by applying strategies proven to work in a variety of situations, providing a higher level of confidence in a treatment’s potential to address specific behavioral health challenges.

We are a nonprofit organization licensed to treat mental health and substance use challenges. We accept the Oregon Health Plan.

Our Clinic programs were developed at the Oregon Social Learning Center. Our programs are designed to meet the needs of clients in outpatient and community settings.

We strive to provide an inclusive and respectful environment where all voices are safely expressed and, more importantly, heard. We offer customized and unique resources to individuals from all walks of life. Our team caters to individuals of all races, ethnicities, national origins, ancestry, sexes, gender identities, physical and mental abilities, medical conditions, socio-economic circumstances, sexual orientations, religions, and/or lived experiences.
